nut short for nut-MEG.
also known as the ole.
this footballing term is used when a player gets the ball through the legs of another player. this usually causes great embarrassment and humiliation to the player who was 'nuts'. john o shea was famous for doing it often in his debut season, most notably against luis figo.
and now, the 'nuts' has 3P held in its thrall. the way we play now aims more for the nuts than the actual scoring of goals, which admittedly is damn fun and real funny when it actually succeeds. especially when you have people like peng (if you've seen him play u know what i mean) nutsing people like paul!
