i just thought of something weird. since when does hanni come to my blog? T_T
anyway.
i was totally prepared to come back and post an extremely long and probably emo post, but it was not to be.
y'see, PSL camp was supposed to be on the 26th-27th cos mrpaullim said so. since i told my parents that after hearing it during the july briefing, my parents promptly when to plan our family holiday to shanghai the very week before. on thursday however we received (bad) news that the PSL camp would have to be pushed forward to be in time for the orientation or something. WHICH conveniently clashes with my family holiday T_T
after talking to mr kelvinyap abt the situation, he said he knew nothing about it (cos he was new to the camp) and he said he was going to talk with ms sim about it. upon hearing about this yesterday, my father wanted to speak to him. i was like T_T why!! wait until tuesday lah! anw he provided erm compelling reasons so i had to go off and get mryap's number (from patrick).
after trng, i headed home before going to tm to watch movie with my family. at this point my father said to me seriously in the car that the psl camp cannot be changed, that i had to decide whether being a psl and losing $600 or spending quality time with "your father mother and sister". yes i quote. the answer that was expected from me was quite obvious, innit.
but damnit i was damned proud to get chosen to be a psl considering just how stringently they cut ppl off. so i was prepared to skip the holiday and go for the camp. i wasn't given an easy time after saying that (cue - guilt trip) . eventually my father er relented and then told me that if i was to stay at home, i would have to e.g. mop sweep clean boil wash clothes dry clothes etc. playing along, i said yes.
he asked: "promise?"
i said: " yarh okay"
he asked again: "promise ah! everyone heard it?"
then i said: "yes okay!"
(bemused at this point.)
then he started laughing -.-
and said
"i have good news"
"your psl camp is being pushed back again because ours is not the only case"
then i was all like "WTH!? THEN WHAT WAS ALL THAT FOR!?"
"to get you to agree to wash clean mop sweep boil"
WTH.
zzzzzzzzzz i also dunno whether to be happy or pissed off.
