LAN fm is quite irritating. ESPECIALLY WHEN CERTAIN PEOPLE KEEP ON SPAMMING CONTINUE AND I HAVE NO TIME TO TRANSFER PPL. (ahem who is it ah)
okok i shall post about our interclass final!
at first on tues (er yesterday) we thought it would be after school, but in the end it was postponed till recess. that was bad because i was still very tired, tired until i slept in class past the bell and into morning flag raising T_T NO ONE WOKE ME UP LARH!
but anw we went slightly late cos we got back our lit papers. (which i got 21/25 for btw xD i think its quite taiko)
that meant that 3R was already there waiting for us. like home court advantage alr la! somemore tom and merrill were almost late T_T
when the game started, we were quite on fire la for the first time since the first game. we were raining shots upon their goal. they had one off the line clearance and we hit the post three times T_T damn suay lor pls.
then controversy. from a corner (or throwin? whatever) the ball floated into the area. tom grabbed it out of midair, but with his arms around dillon's head. so when he pulled it back, it smashed into dillon's specs and the ball dropped. from the ensuing scuffle in the box, mikeybin whacked the ball into the open goal.
fortunately paul was there to rescue us with a brilliant save (ahem reflex). of course it was a handball, and penalty. at the time i didn't think it, but looking back i wonder why paul wasn't red carded. lol. so mikey took the penalty, and blasted it slightly wide of the top left corner, to our relief. if they scored we knew that we would confirm be out alr. so imagine our reaction when mr chng made them retake the penalty, cos not everyone was behind the line T_T damn scary lor. then hanni went to take the penalty, but blasted it too high. we were safe again!
playing on, we had one more off the line clearance before time ran out and it went to penalties.
gwar and slau took the first two penalties, and both scored! so we were 2-0 up and quite confident abt winning it. then we missed the next 2 and they scored 3. -.-
so at 3-2, it was to be the final kick of the game if we missed (cos we took second). paul stepped up to take the penalty. damn pressure la pls. i was damn freaking scared, and i confess that i didnt dare watch it LOL. i only looked up to see the shot fly into the top left hand corner. DAMN NICE SHOT LAH PLS. under pressure somemore. haha paul on fire! during lunch hanni told me that he thought they confirm win le. lol.
then nico tan had to take the next penalty to his chagrin and anger. tom made a gd save from the shot, and if we scored the next penalty, we were champions!
so chee took the last penalty, having already won us the game against 3D with another winning penalty. running up, i was damn shocked when he hit it with the outside of his foot! i was like WTH LAH CHEE DON'T BE FUNNY then the banana shot flew past nicotan for the goal! WOOTS it was a good shot haha. but now he damn ego. oi chee.
haha so we won and then taupoked chee and peng (who rushed into the centre of the field, presumably to be taupoked -.-). after the game i felt quite happy about my performance. haha before the game i thought their aerial threat to be too tough to handle, but i didnt miss or screw up any headers! haha and i marked mikeybin out of the game w00ts. our defence was damn fluid! whenever anyone ran up to attack we automatically covered for the gaps. impenetrable defence baby. lol then tom remarked after the game that he didnt have to make a single save! ^_^
haha so now we're
interclass champions for the year 2006! xD
having taikoed our way through, i think we were bloody lucky! it really could have gone either way for many games. must give thanks to God haha cos without Him i think we'd have bowed out long ago. nvm next year we shall win it with ownage attacking football (Y)
zzz slept the most of today. stayed at home cos i was sick, and missed the tech rehearsal zzzzz. nvm i go find out what happened later. and i finalized my re grp for next year alr! slau paul and (i think) hiok. yay good group. no more slackers next year UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE XD
